HONG KONG, June 7 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 5.3 on the Richter scale jolted Halmahera, Indonesia at 21:42:32 GMT on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 71.62 km, was initially determined to be at 1.9483 degrees north latitude and 128.4953 degrees east longitude.
