BANGKOK, June 6 (Xinhua) -- Thai former education minister Chaturon Chaisang will be released on bail Friday evening following the approval of a Thai military court, local media reported.
Chaturon was required to submit a guarantee of 400,000 Thai baht (12,500 U.S. dollars) for bail. After being released, he is not allowed to leave Thailand, take part in political assembling or incite unrest.
Chaturon, who is a key member of the Pheu Thai party, did not report to the military junta as required. He was then taken into custody by soldiers on May 27 for violating the martial law and inciting unrest.
