ISLAMABAD, April 24 (Xinhua) -- At least two people were killed and 15 others injured when a bomb went off outside a shop in Pakistan's southern port city of Karachi on Thursday morning, local media reported.
Dunya TV said that a suspended police officer, Shafique Tanoli, was sitting inside a shop with his friends when the bomb exploded outside it.
The explosion happened near the Vegetable market area of the city at about 8:50 a.m. (local time).
Nature of the blast has not been determined yet.
The injured people have been shifted to a nearby hospital.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack yet.
Police cordoned off the area and started investigations.
