KABUL, April 1 (Xinhua) -- One foreign soldier lost his live in Afghanistan on Tuesday, the NATO-led forces said.
"An International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) member died as a result of a non-battle related injury in southern Afghanistan today," the NATO-led ISAF said in a statement.
The brief statement did not provide the nationality of the victim, only saying "it is ISAF policy to defer casualty identification procedures to the relevant national authorities."
More than 52,000-strong ISAF troops, with 33,000 of them Americans, are currently being deployed in Afghanistan.
