BEIJING, March 14 (Xinhua) -- The British company Rolls Royce who manufactured the missing plane's two engines said Friday it agreed with the remarks made by Malaysian transport minister about the engines' health data.
The Malaysian minister said Thursday that the last data transimission of the engines was at 1:07 a.m. March 8 and it was normal before. He denied media reports that the plane continued flying for another four hours after contact loss.
Malaysia Airlines flight MH370, a Boeing 777-200ER, suddenly went missing on its way to Beijing last Saturday morning shortly after taking off from Kuala Lumpur. The plane was carrying 227 passengers and 12 crew, including 154 Chinese.
