TEHRAN, Feb. 20 (Xinhua) -- EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton plans to visit Tehran in March, a senior Iranian nuclear negotiator said on Thursday.
Abbas Araqchi said Ashton will visit Iran on March 9-10 ahead of the next round of the nuclear talks between Iran and the world powers, Press TV reported.
Araqchi, also Iran Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs, made the announcement on Thursday as Tehran and six world powers concluded a fresh round of talks in Austrian capital Vienna.
Ashton and Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif announced on Thursday the timetable for the next round of Iranian nuclear talks.
Speaking of the nuclear talks between Iran and the P5+1 -- China, Britain, France, Russia, the United States plus Germany -- in Vienna, Ashton said we had "three very productive days," during which, all the involved parties discussed "all of the issues we need to address in reaching a comprehensive final agreement."
