HONG KONG, 1.17 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale jolted 45km S of Naze, Japan at 06:56:08 Hong Kong Time on Friday (22:56:08 GMT), the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 40.04 km, was initially determined to be at 27.9591 degrees north latitude and 129.4194 degrees east longtitude.
