DPRK leader calls for better ties with S.Korea

PYONGYANG, Jan. 1 (Xinhua) -- Top leader Kim Jong Un of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) said Wednesday in a televised New Year's message that his country will make efforts to improve relations with South Korea.
