DAMASCUS, Dec. 6 (Xinhua) -- Six people were killed and nine others wounded Friday when a blast struck near a headquarters of pro-government militia in Syria's northern province of Qamishli, local source said.
The source spelled no further details, but the state-run SANA news agency said the blast was staged by a suicide booby-trapped truck.
The Syrian government blames al-Qaida-linked groups of being behind the deadly attacks.

DAMASCUS, Dec. 4 (Xinhua) -- At least 17 people were killed and 30 others wounded on Wednesday when rebels fired homemade rockets at two districts of Syria's northern city of Aleppo, the state-run SANA news agency reported.
