ISLAMABAD, Nov. 5 (Xinhua) -- Prime Minister of Kuwait, Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, would be visiting Pakistan from 10 to 12 November, on the invitation of his Pakistani counterpart, Nawaz Sharif, officials said Tuesday.
Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah would be leading a high level delegation including several Ministers, top government officials and businessmen as well as media personnel, the Foreign Ministry said.
"It will give a new impetus to the existing cordial bilateral relations and provide a good opportunity to reinvigorate efforts aimed at strengthening cooperation between the two countries in diverse fields," a statement said.
Several agreements are also expected to be signed during the visit, the first of a senior Kuwaiti leader in seven years.
"The visit would take place within the framework of relations of friendship and cooperation between the State of Kuwait and Pakistan, as well as mutual desire to strengthen and expand those relations," the Foreign Ministry said.
Kuwait also hosts a large Pakistani community which is making positive contribution to the development of Kuwait and is sending remittances supporting Pakistan's economy as well.
