RAMALLAH, Sept. 17 (Xinhua) -- A Palestinian died in an Israeli hospital on Tuesday shortly after Israeli soldiers shot him during clashes in the West Bank, Palestinian and Israeli sources said.
The clashes erupted when Israeli troops broke into Jenin refugee camp in northern West Bank, Palestinian witnesses said.
Witnesses said that the Israeli forces stormed a house belonging to Al-Tubasi family amid gunfire, seriously wounding the 19-year-old Islam Al-Tubasi.
The Israeli army then moved the wounded youth to an Israeli hospital, where he died soon after arriving.
The Israeli forces also broke into several houses in the camp and made some arrests. At least one other Palestinian was injured in the clashes, in which the Israeli soldiers used live ammunition and tear gas.
Tuesday's incident is the fourth deadly raid Israel conducts in Palestinian-controlled areas in the West Bank since the two sides resumed their peace talks late in July.
