BEIRUT, Sept. 13 (Xinhua) -- Lebanon's caretaker Prime Minister Najib Miqati on Friday reiterated that Lebanon supports a political solution for the Syrian crisis and would benefit from it.
Miqati said in a speech during a conference with Arab lawyers that "Lebanon's real interest lies in expediting the political solution to Syria."
"Some of the repercussions of the regional conflicts have reached Lebanon," he said, adding "but our experience taught us that blood creates blood and the only solution (to it) is dialogue. "
The prime minister also urged Arab countries to help it shoulder the burden of the repercussions of the long-running crisis, especially the large influx of Syrian refugees.
"We hope that our Arab brothers realize the dangers Lebanon is facing and cater to the burdens that have already exceeded our capacity," he said.
