CAIRO, Aug. 24 (Xinhua) -- The trial of the top leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood, from which ousted Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi hails, will start Sunday, with charges against them including inciting violence and killing protesters, local media reported Saturday.
The prosecutor's office announced that the Muslim Brotherhood's General Guide Mohamed Badie, who was arrested Tuesday, would appear at criminal court on Sunday. Full story
GAZA, Aug. 24 (Xinhua) -- Egypt on Saturday reopened Rafah crossing point with the Gaza Strip in both directions after five days of closure.
Over the past 10 days, Rafah crossing was opened twice for only allowing Palestinians stuck on the Egyptian side to return to their homes in Gaza, which is controlled by Islamic Hamas movement. Full story
