HOUSTON, Aug. 18 (Xinhua) -- Three people were killed early Sunday after a nightclub fight turned deadly in the U.S. city of Dallas, local media reported.
A "possible suspect" turned himself in late Sunday and was being interviewed, according to local daily Dallas Morning News.
Initial investigation revealed that the deadly shooting resulted from a fight between two women in a nightclub. As a few men tried to break up the fight, a man came through the crowd and began shooting, Dallas police spokesman Jeff Cortner was quoted as saying.
Police said the shooter first walked away but returned a few seconds later, firing more shots at one of the victims.
The identities of the victims and the suspect have not been released.
The shooting, along with the fight between the two women, was captured on surveillance video. The motive of the murder is not immediately known. Police believe the shooting was "deliberate" and "calculated."
