ANKARA, March 16 (Xinhua) -- One person was killed and five others injured on Saturday evening when a fuel tank exploded in southeastern Turkey, private Dogan news agency reported.
The explosion took place in the electrical section of the fuel tank in a garden in Sanliurfa, leaving one person killed and five others injured, including two children, according to the report.
Reasons behind the blast remained unknown. The wounded were taken to a private hospital for medical treatment, said the report, adding that an investigation into this incident was underway.
