SARAJEVO, March 13 (Xinhua) -- The "Interio 2013", an international fair of wood, furniture and interior decoration, opened on Wednesday in Sarajevo.
The fair drew over 100 companies from 13 countries, including Germany, Italy, Switzerland and Austria.
"Interio"is becoming the most important wood industry event in the region, said Suad Zeljkovic, Prime Minister of Sarajevo Canton, during the opening ceremony.
The event is an opportunity to bring experts and new technology to Sarajevo, he added.
Wood industry is a sector with recorded foreign trade surplus of Bosnia and Herzegovina, according to BiH Foreign Trade Chamber.
