ANKARA, March 4 (Xinhua) -- Four soldiers of the Turkish security forces were wounded in a land mine blast in southeastern Turkey on Monday, the semi-official Anatolia news agency reported.
The mine exploded while a military convoy was passing a road near Tavsan Tepe area in Lice town of Diyarbakir province at 08:00 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), leaving four Turkish soldiers injured, Diyarbakir Governor Mustafa Toprak was quoted as saying.
The injured were taken to Hani State Hospital for medical treatment, Toprak said, adding that an investigation into the blast is underway.
