GENEVA, Feb. 27 (Xinhua) -- Several people have been killed or seriously injured during a shooting at a factory near the Swiss city of Lucerne, cantonal police said Wednesday.
Although police did not give exact numbers of victims, the country's RTS television said at least three people, including the gunman, were killed and another seven were injured.
The incident happened at a wood processing company named Kronospan in the town of Menznau shortly after 9:00 a.m. local time (0800 GMT), police said in a statement.
A hotline has been set up by the police for families of employees of the company.
