CAIRO, Feb. 25 (Xinhua) -- U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry has attempted to press all the Egyptian sides to sit down for dialogue, Ahram online reported on Monday.

Via the U.S. embassy in Cairo, Kerry has contacted Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi, presidential advisor Essam el-Haddad, the deputy of Muslim Brotherhood General Guide, Khairat al-Shater, and three other members of the National Salvation Front: Mohamed El- Baradei, Amr Moussa and Sayyed al-Badawi, the report said.

Kerry stressed that the political stability in Egypt cannot be achieved without consensus over a political map.

He pledged that the United States will support the IMF loan for Egypt and press the Gulf countries to pump investments in the Egyptian markets, if the different political forces reach consensus.
