JAKARTA, Jan. 29 (Xinhua) -- Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono received Chief of Staff of Japan Grounds Self- Defense Force (JGSDF) General Eji Kamizuka at the State Palace on Tuesday.
During the meeting Yudhoyono and General Kamizuka discussed on the possibility to strengthen military and defense cooperation.
"I am very happy with this honorable visit. Hopefully the bilateral relation of the two militaries can be boosted ," said Yudhoyono when he met with Kamizuka.
Indonesia and Japan have stressed to strengthen cooperation during the visit of Japanese Prime Minister SHinzo Abe on Jan. 18 in Indonesia.
