ISTANBUL, Dec. 27 (Xinhua) -- Syria's National Coalition for the Opposition Forces said Thursday they are open to any political solution to the Syrian crisis.
The remarks were made after UN-Arab League special representative to Syria Lakhdar Brahimi's call for "real change" in war-torn Syria. Brahimi urged to form a transition government with full executive powers that could pave the way for peace in the country.
"We made it very clear that we are open to any political solution that excludes (Syrian President) Assad and the members of his regime," said Walid al-Bunni, spokesman of the Istanbul-based Syrian opposition coalition.
"We once again express our certainty on political solutions to stop the massacre going on in Syria," said Bunni, adding that Syrian opposition will go to UN and file an official complaint against the attacks of Syrian government forces to at least 10 bakeries in the province of Aleppo over the past three weeks.
