CAIRO, Dec. 5 (Xinhua) -- Two buildings of the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood's Freedom and Justice Party in the governorates of Ismailia and Suez were burnt during clashes between the party's members and protesters, official Nile TV reported Wednesday night.

The fire in the city of Suez has left eight injured since clashes erupted between members of the party, a political wing of the Muslim Brotherhood, and protesters against President Mohamed Morsi, the former leader of the party.

The two sides threw stones at each other, as protests escalated in the city condemning the brotherhood for attacks on anti-Morsi protesters.

Meanwhile, dozens of angry protesters broke into the headquarters of the Freedom and Justice Party in a residential district in Ismailia city when the building was empty, and torched the furniture in some offices. The fire caused damage to the building, but was later controlled by firemen and did not injure anybody.
