DAMASCUS, Dec. 4 (Xinhua) -- Armed groups opened fire at a car transporting a Syrian judge and a Moroccan honorary consul in Syria's northern province of Aleppo on Tuesday, injuring both of them, pro-government al-Ehbaria TV reported.
Syrian Judge Mahmoud Bebi and Ala'a Kaiali, a Moroccan honorary consul, were injured in the shooting, the circumstances of which are still murky.
Most of the Moroccan nationals and diplomats have left Syria over the past months as the crisis in Syria keeps gaining momentum.
Syrian officials were not immediately available to comment on Tuesday's incident in Aleppo.
