KABUL, Dec. 2 (Xinhua) -- Afghan police in conjunction with the army and NATO-led troops have killed 27 Taliban militants during series of operations over the past 24 hours, the Interior Ministry said in a statement released here on Sunday.
During the operations which conducted in 11 provinces, 34 more insurgents have been detained, the statement contended.
However, it did not say if there were any casualties on the security forces. Taliban militants have yet to comment.
