RAMADI, Iraq, Nov. 29 (Xinhua) -- A suicide bomber blew himself up among Iraqi army soldiers in the city of Fallujah in Iraq's western province of Anbar on Thursday, killing three soldiers and wounding ten others, a provincial police source told Xinhua.
A bomber wearing an explosive vest blew himself up among the soldiers and their vehicles who gathered to collect salaries for their units at the branch of the government-owned al-Rasheed Bank in central Fallujah, some five km west of Baghdad, the source said on condition of anonymity.
The blast resulted in killing of three soldiers and wounding of six others including two policemen who were guarding the bank, the source said.
Four pedestrians were also injured by the blast, the source added.
Insurgent attacks continue in the once volatile Sunni Arab area in west of Baghdad that stretches through Anbar province to Iraq's western borders with Syria, Jordan and Saudi Arabia.
