LOS ANGELES, Oct. 20 (Xinhua) -- A London-bound United Airline flight was searched at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) Saturday evening after a phone call of bomb threat.
The plane was taken to an isolated area at LAX, and a bomb squad with dogs searched the aircraft. The FBI, Los Angeles Police Department and the airport police took part in the search, according to local media reports.
The United Flight 934, a Boeing 777, was scheduled to take off at 6 p.m. local time (0100 GMT Sunday) to London's Heathrow Airport.
The anonymous phone call was made from a pay phone at about 6 p.m., the reports said.
