IRKUTSK, Oct. 17 (Xinhua) -- One people was killed and 10 others injured when an Mi-8 helicopter crashed in Russia's Siberian region of Krasnoyarsk on Wednesday, Interfax news agency reported.
The helicopter from Krasavia carrier, with four crew members and eight passengers aboard, overturned while landing in the Evenkiysky district at 8:00 a.m. Moscow time.
According to the report, the crash left one person dead and ten others injured, among them three suffered serious injuries.
The helicopter was airlifting oil workers to an oil field.
The aircraft's tail could touch unidentified object or was cut by the main rotor before it fell on the right side, according to the preliminary investigation.
