GAZA, Sept. 30 (Xinhua) -- A militant of the Islamic Hamas movement's armed wing al-Qassam Brigades was killed Sunday in a so- called "Jihadi mission."
The group said in a press statement that Mohamed Hammad, 22, from central Gaza Strip, was killed in a "mission," without giving any details on what kind of mission he was on.
"Our members are always present in all fields and they have a strong steadfastness to confront the enemy and prepare themselves all the time for any future battle with it," said the statement.
The Palestinian militant groups have announced more than once the death of their members in "Jihadi mission" as the militants were trained to fire rockets or plant roadside bombs in training camps in the Gaza Strip.
