TRIPOLI, Sept. 22 (Xinhua) --Three people were killed and 30 others injured after militias opened fire at protesters in Libya's second largest city of Benghazi overnight, medical sources in the city told Xinhua on Saturday.
The firing came as the protesters, demanding the government to demobilize the militias and form the national army and police, stormed militias camp Rafalla-el-Shati in the city.
The militias tried to disperse the protesters by firing but failed.
