MAIDUGURI, Nigeria, Sept. 18 (Xinhua) -- A top government official in northeastern Nigeria's Borno State was killed at his family compound in Bama local government area of the state, by gunmen suspected to be members of the Boko Haram sect, local police said on Tuesday.
The victim, identified as Mallam Zanna Gana, was until his death, the commissioner for Justice and Attorney-General of the northeastern Nigeria state.
