ANKARA, Sept. 14 (Xinhua) -- A total of 75 militants of the outlawed Kurdish Workers' Party (PKK) were killed in the military operations carried out by Turkish security forces in southeastern Turkey between September 8 and 14, an official statement said on Friday. Four soldiers of the Turkish security forces also lost their lives in clashes with the PKK members during the military operations in the province of Hakkari, said the statement released by Hakkari Governor's Office .
"Operations are under way in the region. We offer our condolences to the families of fallen soldiers," it said.
A total of 330 PKK militants were killed in 974 military operations between February and August of this year, said a statement issued by the General Staff of the Turkish Armed Forces.
Ten PKK rebels were wounded and 33 others captured in the military operations, said the statement.
