GDANSK, Poland, Sept. 8 (Xinhua) -- The 13th international fair of amber was held in Gdansk, northern Poland city over the weekend.
This year, the fair moved to the new pavilion which is close to the Gdansk PGE Arena Stadium, covering an area of about 3,000 square meters.
More than 140 exhibitors from Poland and the Baltic coast countries joined this autumn exhibition.
The exhibits include the silver and gold jewelry with amber, crafts made of amber, and raw amber. More than 3,000 guests took part in the Fair.
Poland is famous for its exquisite amber processing industry, the biannual grand international fairs of amber are held in spring and fall every year. It always attracts a large number of international amber wholesalers from around the world.
In recent years, the international fair of amber not only attracts the visitors from Poland and other European countries, but also attracts more and more Chinese wholesalers.
The price of amber in white and beige color which is very popular in China increases very fast.
