MAIDAN SHAR, Afghanistan, Sept. 1 (Xinhua) -- At least 15 were killed or injured Saturday morning when twin suicide bombings went off near a NATO military base in eastern Afghan province of Wardak, a provincial official said.
"The bombings took place in Sayyidabad district at around 6:15 a.m. today and there were also casualties on the side of NATO-led coalition forces," the official said.
