ULAN BATOR, July 9 (Xinhua) -- President Tsakhia Elbegdorj said Monday that the growing U.S. investment in Mongolia has boosted the development of his nation's mining, technology, infrastructure and education sectors.
The president made the remarks while meeting with U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
Elbegdorj said Mongolia-U.S. relations have seen rapid all-round development since the establishment of bilateral diplomatic ties. He said that he hoped Clinton's visit would further strengthen the cooperation between the two countries.
During her visit, Clinton also gave a keynote speech at an international forum on women's leadership. In her address, Clinton urged all governments to help women find their roles in their societies.
