KABUL, July 3 (Xinhua) -- A gas cylinder exploded in the Afghan capital Kabul on Tuesday killing one person and wounding three others, a police officer at the site said.
"The incident happened next to Parwan Hotel in 11th precinct at around 11:45 a.m. local time as a result one person was killed and three others sustained injuries," the police chief of 11th precinct, Mir Amanullah told Xinhua.
Meantime, Kabul police in a statement released here ruled out the involvement of terrorists in the incident, saying it was an accident during which a market at nearby caught fire.
The blast took place after Taliban attack on a hotel in Qarga lake in the western edge of Kabul on June 22 which had left 23 people dead including five attackers and injured five others.
