ISLAMABAD, May 4 (Xinhua) -- At least eight people were killed in a suicide bomb attack Friday morning in a market area in Pakistan's northwest tribal area of Bajaur Agency, reported local Urdu TV channel Geo.
The killed include some paramilitary troops, said the report, adding that the local government has announced a curfew following the blast.
The blast occurred at about 8:00 a.m. local time at a bazaar in Khar, a main town in Bajaur which borders Afghanistan.
Other details about the attack are not immediately available.
