MEXICO CITY, March 20 (Xinhua) -- A 7.9 magnitude earthquake hit Mexico City on Tuesday, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said.
Buildings in the city swayed amid strong tremors, a resident Xinhua reporter said.
