BAGHDAD, March 3 (Xinhua) -- Two people were killed and two others injured Saturday in two bomb attacks in central and northern Iraq, the police said.

A roadside bomb went off near a police vehicle in central city of Fallujah, some 50 km west of the Iraqi capital of Baghdad, killing one policeman aboard and wounding two passers-by, a local police source told Xinhua on condition of anonymity.

Meanwhile, in northern Iraq, a civilian was killed when a roadside bomb detonated in an industrial area in southern part of Kirkuk, some 250 km north of Baghdad, the police said.

Iraqi cities have been plagued by several attacks, including suicide bombings, since the U.S. troops pulled out of the country late last year.
