More countries have decided to stand with China on the South China Sea issue. They include Cambodia, Angola, Liberia, Madagascar, Papua New Guinea and Senegal.
The Cambodian government clearly announced its support for China at least three times. It said it would not back the arbitration tribunal's upcoming decision over the South China Sea and saw it as quote: "the worst political collusion under the framework of international politics."
Angola's government announced it supported peacefully dealing with issue through negotiation by related parties.
Liberia's government said it respected the Chinese government's position on how to deal with the dispute
Madagascar's government encourages direct dialogue between the countries directly concerned.
The Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea Peter O'Neill said his country respects China's position on the South China Sea issue and supports consultations between the parties directly concerned.
The foreign minister of Senegal supported China's call to solve the dispute with Philippine through dialogues.
"The Hague tribunal has no right of jurisdiction in the South China Sea issue. It is not right the Philippines initiated the South Sea issue by single side. It probably wants other international sides to involve in the issue," said Turkish politician.
"International tribunal only has jurisdiction when both countries agree to arbitrary settlement. But the South China Sea issue is not in the case. Philippines' request is not based on this condition, so the arbitration award will be only worked by one side," said Zarko Obradovic, vice president of Serbian Socialist Party.
"They are trying to persuade their allies to support the tribunal as they are promoted by United States. But the fact is the arbitration tribunal does not have the qualification in terms of South China Sea issue," said Erhard Mohammadi, president of Iran-China Friendship Association.
