BEIJING, Dec. 28 (Xinhuanet) -- Chinese President Xi Jinping's first post on Weibo, the Chinese version of Twitter, went viral on Saturday. It was reposted over 300,000 times and there were more than 35,000 comments in less than 30 hours. Some left their wishes and suggestions hoping Xi would see them, but some expressed their curiosity. Car drift shows on frozen lake

Coolest races ever. Drift racers gathered at Chagan Lake on Saturday, in northeast China's Jilin Province, to display their exciting stunts on ice at an annual fishing festival. The frozen lake and sub-zero temperatures attracted many visitors to watch the spectacle of ice fishing and join in various other fun activities on ice, including the car drift show.

Dilapidated building turned into artwork

A ramshackle building in Shunde, in China's Guangdong Province, has been turned into installation art after an artist wrapped multiple pieces of fluorescent cloth around it. The decoration was a part of an art exhibition, but, it wasn't easy for everyone to understand the meaning behind the artwork.
