BEIJING, Oct. 26 (Xinhuanet) -- Argentina is voting for its next president as the incumbent, Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner, stands down after eight years in power.
Buenos Aires governor Daniel Scioli is leading the poll at the moment, but it is still unclear whether he will face a run-off against center-right rival Mauricio Macri.
Leftist-populist Scioli, outgoing President Cristina Kirchner's pick to take over her and her late husband Nestor's 12-year dynasty, needs at least 40 percent of the vote plus a margin of victory of 10 percentage points to win outright, but exit polls in the Argentine media put the result too close to call.
