UBEIJING, Oct. 22 (Xinhuanet) -- US Secretary of State John Kerry is set to hold talks with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Berlin. They will discuss the recent wave of deadly clashes between Israelis and Palestinians.
According to a spokesman from the US State Department, Kerry will seek practical ways to end the violence that has seen at least 48 Palestinians and nine Israelis killed.
The talks come as Israeli police say they have shot two Palestinians after they stabbed a resident of a town near Jerusalem. A police spokeswoman says the Palestinians and the man they attacked were all seriously wounded and have been taken to hospital.
