BEIJING, Oct. 22 (Xinhuanet) -- Experts around the world have spoken highly of President Xi Jinping's trip to the UK, saying China's economic development, and its economic efforts, especially the "One Belt One Road" initiative, have injected new energy into the global economy.
"President Xi Jinping's trip to the UK marks another step forward for China. The Chinese government has been very proactive in recent years. This is significant. I believe China's performance on the world stage will provide a broad scope and more diversity for the world. China's One Belt One Road Initiative will help countries along the route to see further, and therefore, establish a peaceful and harmonious trade relationship," said Agnaldo Perugini, Brazilian politician.
"Chinese industry, economy is making a change. They have changed from simple industry to high tech industry. And of course it is important for China to take care of the environment. I don't think it is a crisis in China. That is just a normal development," said Michael Borchmann, German expert on international affairs.
