Chinese figures on Bloomberg list

BEIJING, Oct. 9 (Xinhuanet) -- Bloomberg markets has published a list of 50 most influential individuals for 2015.

The list covers leaders from political, financial, technological and academic sectors.

Chinese president Xi jinping ranks the second, with Bloomberg commenting that "the financial world is waiting on Xi and his colleagues to show that they have the right touch to run the world's second biggest economy".

Also on the list is Wang Qishan, the head of China's anti-corruption body. He is hailed as a key player in an effort to stabilize economy and stock market.

Bao Fan, the founder of China Renaissance Investment Firm is also included. He helped seal deals of around 20 billion US dollars of IPO and mergers and acquisitions for Chinese start-ups, including a prominent merger of two taxi app giants.

Wang Jianlin, the founder of Dalian Wanda group is lauded for his vision to "make Wanda a world-class company in the league of Microsoft and Wal-mart".
