BEIJING, Oct.8 (Xinhuanet) -- US Deputy Secretary of State Antony Blinken has arrived in Beijing for an official visit at the invitation of Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Zhang Yesui.
Chinese State Councillor Yang Jiechi met with Blinken in the capital on Thursday. He will also visit Shanghai on Friday. Blinken had previously served as Deputy National Security Advisor for US President Barack Obama.
