BEIJING, Oct. 5 (Xinhuanet) -- The Spanish government says Spain and Morocco have arrested 10 people suspected of belonging to a ring that recruited fighters for ISIL in Syria and Iraq. The arrests took place in the Spanish cities of Toledo and Badalona, the small coastal town of Xeraco and in Morocco's Casablanca.
Spain's Interior Minister says those arrested belong to a network of people that recruited, indoctrinated and sent foreign fighters to join ISIL. Spain and Morocco are among the countries in Europe and North Africa to have stepped up efforts to tackle radicalized citizens joining ISIL militants and returning home to try and launch attacks.
