BEIJING, Oct. 5 (Xinhuanet) -- Typhoon Mujigae has also brought violent tornadoes to southern China's Guangdong Province.
Videos of a tornado captured by local residents in Foshan city show mushroom-shaped clouds appearing in the sky at about 4pm on Sunday. The tornado moved rapidly, overturning a coach, flattening a make-shift house and blowing a construction crane off the top of a building.
More than 68,000 families have been affected and electricity in large areas were cut off. The provincial capital Guangzhou was also hit by a tornado. The tornado affected water and power supplies, and caused traffic chaos.
