BEIJING, Sept 28 (Xinhuanet) – Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi attended the Afghanistan reconstruction and regional cooperation meeting in New York with his counterparts from the US and Afghanistan.
Wang said at the meeting that China is acting to meet the commitment in support of the country's reconstruction. Wang says China has provided aid in health care, education and water conservancy projects, and trained over 1,000 specialists.
A new round of the support plan includes dispatching experts to assist in making infrastructure development guidelines. US secretary of State John Kerry has urged the cooperation with China in dealing with problems in Afghanistan.
