BEIJING, Sept. 24 (Xinhuanet) -- President Xi Jinping paid a visit to aircraft maker Boeing's Commercial aviation factory in Everett, Washington, Wednesday.
The assembly line that Xi toured is where Boeing makes its largest aircraft. He was greeted by Boeing Commercial Airplanes President and CEO Ray Conner. After walking through the cabin, Xi told hundreds of Boeing employees that he saw bright prospects for future collaboration between China and Boeing. He added that Boeing has played an important role in pushing forward China-U.S. relations.
Xi also boarded a 787 Dreamliner which will soon join the fleet of China's Xiamen Airlines. Conner highlighted his company's strong relationship with China and its benefits.
