BEIJING, Sept. 17 (Xinhuanet) -- The United Nations security council has held a meeting to hear the report from the Sanction Committee for their past three months' work.
Wang Min, China's Deputy representative to the UN, says China hopes all sides will fully implement the Iran nuclear deal.
"Sanction is not the purpose of resolution, neither a standard to evaluate the progress of Sanction Committee. For now, the council should carry out the work in a balanced and objective manner. They should properly settle the sensitive issues which might violate the resolution. They should make sure to carry out the relevant resolution issued by the UN security council and cooperate on implementing Iran's nuclear deal. This is to avoid any action which may add complexity to the implementation of the Iran nuclear deal," he said.
